GunBot Review and SCAM Investigation
What is the Gunbot (TheCryptoBot.com), and who is Gunthar de Niro? If you have been asking yourself this question then you have reached the right review page. It seems like everyone wants to get in on the cryptocurrency action and trade in Bitcoin, Ethereum or other cryptocurrencies. Automated trading robots are the favorite choice of people who want to trade Bitcoin without having to manually follow the market fluctuations. But the problem is that so much demand has led to a massive number of scam trading platforms. It’s difficult for beginner investors to know which is a legit crypto trading app, and which is a scam site that’s just a front for shady, unregulated brokers dealing in binary options like Forex and CFD. That’s why when we originally started testing the GunBot app and automated trading software, we were skeptics. But, eventually we realized that blacklisting this software is out of the question due to the performance it has displayed. So, in stark contrast to the vast majority of scam crypto robots out there which you should avoid like the plague, Gunbot offers a legitimate and relatively user-friendly automated trading solution for virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Dash, Moneto, and Litecoin. If you are a skeptic like we are, we invite you to continue reading our informative Gunbot review and make an informed decision before investing.

What is GunBot?
GunBot is an automated cryptocurrency trading robot that utilizes an algorithm for detecting the best times to buy and sell crypto. You can use GunBot for manual or automated trading. It was developed and offered for sale by Gunthar de Niro. We’ve checked, and he’s not a fictitious character but a real software developer who makes himself available to answer questions about his GunBot app through social media and his GunBot forum. This is a big plus for GunBot.
How Does GunBot Work?
GunBot works by buying crypto when the price is low and selling it on when the price rises. It operates across six exchanges – Binance, Bitfinex, Poloniex, Bittrex, Cryptopia and Kraken. The exchanges available depend on which version you buy; for example, Cryptopia is only supported on version 4.0.1 and up. When you use GunBot software, you can choose your preferred trading strategy from:
- Bollinger Bands
- Gain
- Step Gain
- Ping Pong
- BBRSI – TSSL
Gunthar himself recommends using Bollinger Bands, but you can mix it together with Step Gain, Gain or Ping Pong when you use it on Bittrex, Kraken or Poloniex markets.
To use GunBot, you’ll need to buy a license – make sure to only buy GunBot software licenses from this authorized, genuine review page, as we make sure that it is the latest and most updated version. Once you’ve bought and downloaded the software, you’ll need to manually configure it. This means choosing your currency pairs such as Ethereum to Bitcoin or Bitcoin to USD, as well as your trading amounts and the strategies you wish to use. When you buy GunBot software, you’ll get an API key and an API secret key. You’ll need both of these in order to access your exchange and configure the software. The GunBot website has extensive instructions and an explanatory video that guide you through setting up and running your GunBot app for the first time.
What Do You Need in Order to Use GunBot?
GunBot isn’t accessible for every beginner investor. First of all, you need the right hardware setup to be able to handle the GunBot software. You might be able to run it from your private computer, but it’s recommended to use a system that is at least quad-core and with 4GB RAM. GunBot trading robot is compatible with Window 10, Linux and Mac devices, but it runs best with Windows or Linux. GunBot themselves recommend buying a Virtual Private Server (VPS) from Contabo or elsewhere, to ensure that you have enough power to run the software.
As well as basic computer and file editing skills, you also need to understand:
- The logic of market trading
- The different strategies available
- The meaning of basic crypto-currency terms such as Bitcoin, Coin-pair, API key and more
To get the best results from GunBot, you need to know how to configure it for market conditions. This is another point in GunBot’s favor, since it shows that it is not a get-rich-quick scam but, requires a certain amount of knowledge.
How Can I Be Sure That it’s Not a Scam?
After doing our research, we’ve concluded that the GunBot trading robot is not a scam. It doesn’t show the classic signs of an affiliate marketing scheme, and when you sign up, you won’t be handed on to an unnamed, unregulated binary options or Forex broker. GunBot software has a support forum for traders which is active and shows that many real investors are using the software and discussing their profits in real time – which is another good sign that you can rely on the app. It doesn’t make wild, inflated claims about earning thousands of dollars in your spare time, and it also doesn’t pretend that you can make money by trading crypto without having a clue what you’re doing.
It’s also reassuring to see that Gunthar de Niro, the owner and developer of GunBot, appears to be a real person. He is willing to answer questions about using his GunBot software on the Telegram support forum, and Googling his name does not bring up a bunch of fake images. We also discovered that the testimonials shared by GunBot on its website are real testimonials from real people. Unlike many other scam crypto trading sites we’ve blacklisted, GunBot doesn’t pretend to have endorsements and support from other financial websites or organizations. We also noted that although there is a limited number of GunBot licenses, there’s no hard sell on the website. There is also a very robust instructional section on the actual website and the FAQ is also very professional. Response times on the email support are also very fast and we asked the hard questions about cashing out and software configuration in detail.
Gunbot Profit Calculator
We have used a profit calculator before and after using the software ourselves. In both cases the numbers add up and the software provides consistent wins.
Gunbot Settings
Below is a screenshot taken from the settings page in the Gunbot software. You can see we are using v3.2 as that is the one we have been assigned to. In this case the settings are configured after a brief consultation with our technical aids and after integrating with a very fast server in order to delay lag and execution time frames.
You do not have to use these settings, you can set it on a more conservative strategy, or alternatively take a higher risk. That is totally up to you and the budget you allocate for this. We are constantly tuning our settings and have been able to generate a steady income depending on how Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are doing overall in the markets.
Above is a good example of how our usual trading day looks like. It represents a total daily profit of 2.25%, and that is usually how our statistics accumulate to.

Pros of Using GunBot
By now, you’re probably wondering whether you should buy GunBot trading robot software. That decision is up to you, since there are a few reputable, genuine automated trading crypto-bots to choose from. In our opinion, these are the good reasons to buy a GunBot software license:
- Because it’s automated, you can leave GunBot to run 24/7 once you’ve done the initial configuration. That means that GunBot is carrying out trades for you all the time, even when you sleep, giving you a better chance of making a good profit over time.
- The limited number of licenses for each GunBot edition is reassuring. You won’t risk discovering that the automated trading robot that you paid for suddenly stops working somewhere down the line, just because too many people bought the app.
- GunBot doesn’t require ongoing payments. You won’t keep on being asked to send more money to some shady broker. The license payment is a one-time payment for a single lifetime license – once you’ve bought the software, you can download it, configure it and manage all your own trades.
- GunBot has a good support system going for its traders. There’s a support forum on the Telegram app, and owner Gunthar is active in giving advice and help when investors need it.
- There are over 4,000 traders who are now using GunBot, which indicates that it’s working and succeeding for many people.

After conducting extensive research, our staff has concluded that GunBot software is not a scam. It’s a genuine crypto trading robot that enables users to automate their trades in cryptocurrencies. We’re genuinely surprised to discover a legit trading robot which doesn’t make use various form of hyped up and exaggerated claims of easy money, and ultimately delivers by producing consistent results over time.
