Welcome to our Crypto Engine Review. The Crypto Engine scam software and automated trading app (Crypto Robot) is advertised as a trading platform which gives you “a chance to make a fortune on the next Bitcoin Boom”. But our members really want to know the truth; is Crypto Engine scam or legitimate trading app? Our Crypto Engine review explains it all in detail! In the sales video the scammers start off with out-of-context news reports which say “$500,000 in three years! The always controversial John Mcafee joins us!” Do those opening remarks by CNBC Reporter and Anchor Melissa Lee sound familiar to you? If they do its probably because you have been illegally solicited to join the cloned Crypto Engine app and fraudulent automated trading platform. Today we know its a scam because we actually deposited £350 after seeing a fake news article about how Martin Lewis generated thousands of pounds by using this “incredibly profitable bitcoin system”. To make matters worse, the broker which was allocated to us was “my coin banking” which has a registered business address in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (shady legal jurisdiction).
Crypto Engine Review: Complaints: The complaints we received had to do with inability to cash out money and excessive phone calls during unacceptable hours. This makes total sense since we were able to identify a fraud affiliate network which is actively promoting Crypto Engine, and these crooks will say anything to convince you to signup and invest so they can collect their affiliate commissions. In a nutshell, if you feel a sudden urge to open up your wallet and invest your hard-earned money through the crypto engine scam we urge you to reconsider and take a step back because we exposed these crooks and their shady little operation.

Critical Update 2022: Crypto Engine is becoming a very viral scam, so we will monitor and update this review on a daily basis (especially the celebrity and fake news section).
Proof of SCAM
Below is the main sales page and registration area for the Crypto Engine website. Take look at Melissa Lee from the “Fast Money” show, and the little yellow icon at the top which says “$500,000 in three years”. We have marked this section in red for you so it is easier for you to spot.
And here we see the same Melissa Lee saying the exact same thing and introducing John Mcafee and talking about how Bitcoin is about to “hit $500K”. Only this time scammers are using her for another scam (the original) named “Bitcoin Investor”.
Below is the post registration screen which is being excessively used these days by a variety of scams such as Bitcoin Compass, Libra Method, and Crypto Nation Pro. If you see anything remotely resembling this fake post-registration pop-up make sure to close it and move on.
Fake Crypto Engine Reviews
Here is an example of a fake review site which is endorsing this fraudulent software and giving it a score of 9.2 points out of 10 and an 85% payout. This is done because the website is getting paid to write fake reviews, and that is a flat out conflict of interest and simply unfair because readers are searching for unbiased reviews. It’s also important to point out that there is a flurry of paid press releases from various news outlets (we will not mention their names here) who are literally accepting money for endorsing crypto scams. We urge you to remain vigilant and keep a watchful eye before you believe sponsored or paid content since there is a clear conflict of interest here. The people who are promoting these sponsored reviews don’t have to worry about their website reputation or what they are recommending to their viewers, they are just buying exposure via highly reputable news organizations and ranking high on search engines. Additionally, we were able to spot fake testimonials in various forums such as Reddit and also on Trustpilot.
Crypto Engine Fake News (Updated On A Daily Basis)
Here we have compiled a series of fake news snippets which illustrate exactly how the scammers operate. You can see for yourself that they are using actors and celebrities like Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Martin Lewis, Lord Alan Sugar, Dragons’ Den, Shark Tank, Daniel Radcliff, Singapore millionaire Peter Lim, Elon Musk, Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran, Richard Branson, Nyhetsmorgon, This Morning Show With Holly Willoughby, Akshay Phillips, Harry and Meghan, Rob Brydon and other high profile individuals. It’s also worth mentioning that there are fake Mirror pages which are being used in click ads in order to promote the Crypto Engine scam.
What Is Crypto Engine and How Does It Work?
The Crypto Engine system is marketed as a “live-trading platform” which generates “huge profits from the cryptocurrency markets” for you. There is no real discussion about how this software works, but they do mention a cutting edge technology, as well as accurate signals or indicators.
Crypto Engine Review, Make A Fortune Trading Bitcoin Or Lose Money?
The Crypto Engine scam trading platform is not a trading platform at all. It’s closer to a crap shoot or roulette table, only in this case your chances of actually generating profits are much lower. That is because the brokers who are accepting your deposit are crooks and your loss is their gain. The affiliates who are promoting this scheme are also getting paid on the back end by the filthy offshore brokers who send them wires bases on your loss. In other words, the more money you lose the more profit the “broker” generates. But the saddest thing in their website is the fact that they say “Trading you can Trust”. Initially this made our research staff giggle, but the more we thought about it the more we realized how deceptive and misleading Crypt Engine really is.
Multiple Versions Of The Crypto Engine Scam Detected
Below you can see 5 different versions of the Crypto Engine software, and they all claim to be the real or official website. This is happening because there are competing affiliate networks with promoters that insist on using their own design and tech setup which includes an affiliate tracking software and integration panel. As you may have already guessed, all formats of the Crypto Engine scheme are documented scams regardless of their sales pitch or how they may look to you.
We recommend you take a real good look at the images above because the designs and formats are very typical of other scams which are being promoted very heavily these days. Being able to identify these formats can be very helpful when conducting your research.
Crypto Engine Blacklisted By The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority
Below is a screenshot we have taken from the Danish FSA website, which is the government’s official regulatory body on all matters regarding financial instruments, stock market, and investing in general. In it you can clearly see that Crypto Engine is blacklisted, and the the report originated from Spain. In this context we would like to reiterate that Crypto Engine does not have any type of certification from any regulatory body such as the FCA. This means the promoters of this software are not bound to any legal guidelines related to transparency, auditing mechanisms, personal data, or security-related issues.
Is It Free?
No, it will cost you at least £/€250 and sometimes twice as much to get started. That money will be charged to your credit card by brokers like “my coin banking” who will undoubtedly steal your money in a New York minute.
Other Viral Scams Trending
The ones to watch out for are Bitcoin Era and Immediate Edge.
Bitcoin Signals, Auto-Traders, and Social Trading Apps
The markets are flooded with losing systems like Crypto Engine, and this trend is only growing. This is happening because there are many affiliate networks which are peddling fraudulent software in order to receive commissions for generating depositing traders. Systems can take various forms, and if you are not experienced with things like technical analysis, contract rates, and entry/exit strategies, then you had best recruit a professional trader to assist you or alternatively use a signals app or auto-trader.
A Few Viable Options

Jonas says
Yes this is true. I lost €250 and then Max Green contacted me asking me to reinvest using his strategy. Of course when I showed him your review he immediately hung up so I know crypto engine is a scam as you say.
Stephan Lindburg says
Hi Jonas, you are lucky to only lose 250 Euros. Thanks, Stephan
Diana says
They tried to charge my credit card €1,000 and this was not approved. I could not believe my eyes, I had to call my bank and cancel my credit card. Fortunately I saw this review and it saved me a lot of money. There are some fake reviews I can see now and this is very bad.
Stephan Lindburg says
Hi Diana, that is quite disturbing. You should report them to the police for internet fraud.
Ahmed says
Too late for me. I lost €250 and looks like I’ll never get it back.
Stephan Lindburg says
Hi Ahmed. Be thankful! The Crypto Engine SCAM is very deceptive and we have received feedback from traders who have shown us they lost thousands of euros.
Julia says
They called me last night and made it sound so easy. I was initially surprised to get the phone call and then I read your review about Crypto Engine and realized it was a scam like you wrote. This time I was lucky and did my research first. Thank you for your review
Stephan Lindburg says
Hi Julia, nice catch and thanks for letting us know. Stephan
Elgee says
I almost invest 250usd for this app. Luckily i read the reviews about it first. Bit i’m worried because i already fill up their application form as well as gave my card number but i dropped the call from the broker before i mak the deposit.. Can they access my card?
Stephan Lindburg says
Hi Elgee, the deposit via card requires 3D verification (verified by Visa or Mastercard) with a pin code. In other words, they can’t use it unless you approve the transaction. Regardless, I would monitor my credit card statement very closely to see if it has been used illegally. Thanks, S
Danny L says
There are many of these trading platforms popping up everywhere, deceiving people. I think there should be a law for internet host companies/domain registrars to review licences for authenticity before allowing these crooks to set up a website for trading. Some of these platforms are said to be ponzi schemes.
Stephan Lindburg says
Agreed. Thanks, Stephan
ross says
Thank you for this post, I hate to say it but I as almost duped by clever marketing and the promise of returns with well worded testimonials and reviews from well known news outlets. Luckily I just completed the initial registration form and nothing else. It was able to find this page following a Google search, I hope others also have a chance to read this article before being scammed.
Thanks again!
Stephan Lindburg says

Ricardo Candeias says
I just checked trustpilot reviews and they all appear favourable…but the words used by different people are identical and sounds straight away like a scam…but how are they able to do this as lot’s of people use trustpilot to ascertain the legitimacy of a company…how is trustpilot allowing fake reviews to be there are the platform is a scam…no wonder they get a lot of people to loose their money as no one puts them in their place
Stephan Lindburg says
Hi Ricardo, we have addressed the issue of fake reviews on Trust Pilot on a separate post. This reviews platform has totally lost all legitimacy and we recommend you reach out and file a spam report through their help desk every time you see this happening. Thanks, S
Shal says
I don’t understand, are you talking about a cloned Crypto Engine software or the original one?
Stephan Lindburg says
Hi Shal, regardless of the version you have been referred to they are all scam. Please be advised.
